Section events will be listed on the VMCC national website's calendar of events, with any last-minute updates posted here. We also operate a text-based communication system to keep members posted on activities. To join in with this, you'll need to speak to our section secretary.

The Flat Tank And Girder Fork Run

Held in May, this is the section's premier event. It is, as the name suggests, aimed at older machines, though contrary to the name, we have now opened entries to all rigid framed machines.

It is based in Lancashire's beautiful Trough of Bowland, and consists of 25 or 50 mile routes along quiet roads suitable for vintage and veteran machines and taking in stunning scenery. A support & recovery vehicle is provided. It's a friendly, non-competitive event, starting and finishing at Goosnargh Village Hall, where refreshments are available on the day.
